Born in Kent, England, Jerome Piercy, was expelled from more than one school and left formal education early, supporting himself through building work and odd jobs. He later trained in theatre design, wrote plays performed in Brighton, and went on to undertake expeditions across Africa. This led him to the Ethiopian famine and twenty-five years leading humanitarian and development projects in post-conflict and disaster-affected regions of the world.
Jerome Piercy is a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society and has received an MBE for human development. ENTANGLEMENT is his first published novel.
